Denver police investigate fatal shooting near W. Arizona Avenue

Denver police are investigating a shooting homicide near the 3800 block of W. Arizona Ave. after an adult male was pronounced dead at the scene, the department said in a July 13 post.
Police said the investigation was active but did not disclose when the shooting occurred, the victim’s identity, the exact address or a case number. They did not announce an arrest or say whether anyone was in custody.
The department asked people with information to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers. The victim’s identity is pending notification of relatives and release by authorities.
