Denver police first reported the shooting at about 5:12 p.m. Friday, saying one person had been taken to a hospital and warning residents to expect a police presence in the area, the department said.
Police reported the victim’s death at about 7:57 p.m. and said the investigation remained ongoing, according to the department’s update.
