Plenary plans fall toll-billing shift for US 36, I-25 express lanes
Drivers without ExpressToll accounts are expected to receive bills directly from Plenary Roads Denver; account holders are expected to keep using ExpressToll.
Plenary Roads Denver plans to take over billing this fall for drivers without ExpressToll accounts on the US 36 and Central I-25 express lanes, while account holders are expected to keep using ExpressToll, according to an E-470 presentation to Arapahoe County commissioners.
E-470 Executive Director Joe Donahue told commissioners that ExpressToll transponders would continue to work on Plenary’s lanes and that the agency expected no change for ExpressToll customers. Donahue said Plenary was installing equipment and expected to begin processing tolls around November, during the county’s Sept. 21 meeting.
