Denver’s Finance and Business Committee is scheduled to consider a proposed $4.16 million 2027 budget for the River North General Improvement District, including an estimated $2.72 million for capital improvements, the city Finance Department’s budget presentation says.

The capital-improvement estimate is about 65% of proposed expenses. Overall expenses in the proposal are 138.4% higher than the district’s amended 2026 budget. That comparison is between budget figures, not actual spending.

The committee agenda also lists resolution 26-1601 for the district’s 2027 work plan and budget, along with proposed amendments to its 2025 and 2026 budgets. City Council action on the district budgets is due by Dec. 5, according to the presentation. The 2027 budget has not yet been approved.
