Englewood City Council named three finalists for city manager on Nov. 2: interim manager Tim Dodd, Joseph Molis and Brandy Reitter, the council announced. The city has scheduled public events and interviews with the candidates for Nov. 16 and 17.
The city’s search timeline schedules a city tour from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 16, followed by a public meet-and-greet from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Civic Center. The council’s 6 p.m. meeting is scheduled to include interviews, expected around 6, 7 and 8 p.m. The council added public comment to that meeting so residents can address the full council. The mayor pro tem described it as the only public-comment opportunity before the selection. Staff also said the city planned to post an online resident feedback form.
A second meet-and-greet is scheduled for 9 to 10 a.m. Nov. 17 at Malley Recreation Center, followed by panel interviews from noon to 3 p.m.
The timeline lists a Nov. 19 special meeting to choose a top candidate, as well as a Dec. 7 date for contract approval and a projected Feb. 1 start date. The council also scheduled an executive session on Nov. 19 to discuss the candidates.
