Commerce City NIGID budget and mill levy

Commerce City’s Northern Infrastructure General Improvement District (NIGID) budget and mill levy fund roadway, water, and wastewater improvements in the city’s northern range while covering district debt service. The 2027 preliminary budget recommends continuing the 8-mill levy; the district board is scheduled to hold hearings and act on the budget and levy in fall 2026.
