Denver sex and gender data protections

The bill would limit when Denver agencies collect, retain, or share information about a person’s sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression, and require agencies to report on compliance. The City Council is considering the policy; the bill states a January 1, 2027 effective date.
