Denver youth diversion services

Denver is working to sustain and staff diversion and deflection services for youth, which provide alternatives to deeper justice-system involvement. The city’s proposed 2027 budget shifts resources toward internal capacity as referrals rise, while the district attorney is expected to continue programming previously supported by a city agreement.
