Denver STAR crisis response program

Denver's Support Team Assisted Response (STAR) program provides citywide crisis response with EMTs, paramedics and vans. The city is funding the program through a Denver Health & Hospital Authority contract and a Care Over Incarceration grant, with both agreements extending into 2027.
