Denver youth food education programs

Denver’s Department of Public Health & Environment supports youth food access and education through the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids initiative. The city’s program portfolio includes multi-year grants for school-based nutrition education, food access, and family engagement; a new cohort 07 contract with SustainEd Farms is requested for 2026–29.
