Arapahoe County forensic lab capacity

Arapahoe County is seeking federal support to expand Unified Forensic Laboratory DNA-processing capacity, including faster analysis of sexual-assault evidence through new extraction instrumentation and validation. The county is considering an application for the 2026 DNA Capacity Enhancement for Backlog Reduction grant.
