Denver police are investigating a crash involving a motorist and a stand-up electric scooter operator near W. 17th Avenue and N. Wolff Street that caused serious injuries, the department said Sunday night. Police have not explained how the collision happened or assigned fault.
The Denver Police Department said in a post published at 10:14 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, that it was investigating a traffic crash with “serious injuries.” The post did not identify those involved, say how many people were injured or provide information about their conditions. It also did not say whether officers issued citations, made arrests or referred criminal charges.
