Denver police investigate shooting on E. Dartmouth Avenue; victim’s condition unknown

Denver police were investigating a shooting in the 10700 block of E. Dartmouth Ave. late Sunday, after officers located one victim. The victim’s condition was unknown.

In an alert posted by the Denver Police Department at 11:43 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, police said officers were working to develop suspect information and that the investigation was ongoing. The alert did not identify the victim, describe a suspect or announce an arrest.

Police had not released what led to the shooting, whether the victim was hospitalized or whether the shooting was fatal. The alert identified only the 10700 block; it did not specify a building or unit.
