Denver seeks $684,000 increase for assessor software contract
The proposed amendment would raise the Just Appraised contract to about $1.03 million and extend it through 2031 to support deed processing and ownership records.

Denver Technology Services is seeking to add $683,607 to its contract with Just Appraised Inc., bringing the proposed total to $1,029,607, to continue using and supporting software that processes property deeds and ownership changes for the Assessor’s Office. The Oct. 1 contract request would extend the agreement through Dec. 31, 2031.
The software identifies assessor-related documents among recorded filings, extracts information about property transfers and supports senior and veteran exemption applications. Technology Services says automating that work can reduce data-entry errors and give staff more time for complex tasks.
The request lists the current agreement as running from Jan. 1, 2023, through Dec. 31, 2026, with a value of $346,000. It cites the city’s single-source procurement exception, identified in the form as XO8. Separately, to justify a contract term longer than five years, the request says the application has been customized or configured for Denver and Finance staff are trained and efficient using it. Technology Services says continuing with the software would support continuity of city operations and services.
The filing is a contract request, not an approval of the proposed amendment.
