Denver’s Mayor’s Office has proposed 10 first-term members for the Mayor’s Youth Commission, with terms listed to run from Sept. 1, 2026, through Aug. 31, 2028. City Council confirmation is part of the appointment process.

The Sept. 28 memorandum to City Council names Betzabel Chavez, Janoha Tewedros, William “Liam” Gibson-Ramirez, Tania Torres, Rashel Garcia, Jack Baker, Bridgett McManus, Lory Zaldana, Nate Mullen and Angela Maramba. The memo describes the commission as the city’s primary advisory board for bringing young people’s perspectives into local government decision-making.

A city ordinance signed Sept. 23 requires at least two youth commissioners from each council district. The slate memo does not identify the proposed members’ district assignments, so it does not show how they relate to that requirement. (CB26-1127)
