Broomfield’s single-family home sales rose 10.7% in September, while townhouse and condo sales were down 12.2% through the first nine months of 2026, according to the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS’ September market update. The city had 83 single-family sales, and the median sale price was $715,000, up 7.9% from September 2025.
Townhouse and condo sales totaled 20 in September, matching the same month last year. The segment’s median sale price was $373,375, down 20.3%. The report cautions that monthly figures can look extreme with a small number of sales, so that price change may not reflect a sustained trend.
Through September, 173 townhouses and condos sold, and the median sale price was $440,000, down 2.2% from the same period in 2025. New listings fell 12.4%, to 298, while homes took an average of 75 days to sell—17.2% longer than a year earlier.
Single-family sales totaled 780 through September, up 10% year over year, and the median sale price was $675,000, up 0.7%. In September, the segment had 227 active listings, 5% fewer than a year earlier. Homes took an average of 49 days to sell, compared with 46 days in September 2025.
The report’s median-price measures do not account for seller concessions or down-payment assistance.
