Denver Parks and Recreation is proposing higher admission prices at the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave and would open seven free-admission days to all visitors. Under the proposal, adult tickets would rise from $5 to $6 and youth tickets from $1 to $2. Senior admission would remain $4, and children 5 and younger would continue to enter free, according to the department’s committee presentation.
The seven free days are currently limited to Denver residents. Other listed discounts, including My Denver, Blue Star Museums and library passes, would remain under the proposal.
The department projects the changes would increase annual admission revenue by $58,885, from $307,610 to $366,495. The estimate applies the proposed fees to 2025 admission counts, which totaled about 78,600, and assumes attendance would not change.
The Parks, Arts and Culture Committee is scheduled to consider Council Bill 26-1652 on Nov. 3, 2026, with public testimony and discussion planned, according to the committee agenda. The draft ordinance does not specify when the proposed fees would take effect.
