Denver police are investigating a shooting in the 8000 block of E. 12th Avenue after two people were taken to a hospital early Sunday. Their injury conditions, any suspect information and the scene status were not publicly confirmed by 8:14 a.m. MDT.
The Denver Police Department said in an alert posted at 1:31 a.m. MDT that two people had been transported to a local hospital, that the extent of their injuries was unknown and that officers were working to develop suspect information. The department did not identify the hospital.
A review through 8:14 a.m. MDT of publicly available DPD and Denver government channels found no incident-specific follow-up identifying a suspect, announcing an arrest, updating the victims’ conditions or saying the scene had been cleared. No public EMS or hospital confirmation of the transports, receiving facility or patient conditions was located.
